Sports are just entertainment. Would Einstein not have had "a wonderful year" in 1905 if some sports team had lost a game? Would some sporting event have prevented the Wright brothers from flying? Would Perelman have quit working because of sports? What about Feynman?
We win some and we lose some. I prefer winning but "this movie" ended with a loss rather than a win. Who knows how the next movie will end? Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

And the fact that sports affects peoples' attitudes that spill over into other facets of their lives, and people like to be identified with a winner.
For example, how proud were you to be a Shocker fan back in '06 when we beat Seton Hall and Tennessee, especially Tennessee, in the Big Dance? Sports add excitement and drama to our lives.

Not enough games have been played to draw any conclusion. WSU dropped a road game to SIU and a home game to UNI early in the conference schedule to fall to 2-2. Both losses were by double digits. I seem to recall that many, if not most of the fans on this board were very negative about WSU's chances in the conference. It is way to early to write off their chances this year.
In any event, I would wait until the year is over to make any comparisons of the two teams.
