The question put forth was which one would we rather win.
Naturally everyone wants to win both?

Beating TT is much more important as winning against a top 20 team when they start looking at bubble teams. Losing the opening conference game will not kill us provided we can end up as low as third in the regular season and tournament.

Tech without a doubt. You never know man, we could all like....die or something in between the two games. I want to see the shox win one last time before I go.

Gotta go with winning as many Valley road games as possible. I say if we went 1-1 I hope it's a win over ISU on the road.

I guess I would take the Tech game based on beating a ranked opponent and we could drop a few in the MVC and still have an at-large shot.

The problem is we can't lose many conference games, maybe three or even less to have a decent chance for a bid without winning the MVC tournament. Illinois State showed no energy, hustle and toughness in their last game. If we don't beat them to start Valley play we will probably take way more losses than three in the Valley.

We're bound to lose a few Valley games this year, unfortunately. But this will be our only shot at Tech, and maybe our only game against a ranked opponent all season. It's a no brainer! A Tech win would far outweigh an Ill St. loss.

              No brainer. Tech!

You guys are thinking like Shocker fans. Outside the Valley nobody gives a flip about a road win like Ill St.

Beat a top 16 Big Twelve team. Rack it! I'll take that any day. Not even close. At the end of the year if we are floating on a bubble that win would look very nice.
