Absoflippinlutely. The blind Wu with his tin cup panhandling for change got run.....I am pretty sure I know who that Wu was as well.

      All time classic.

      • Wu pulled glasses from underneath the score table. That is classic. Tonight was so grade school compared to yester years. Can't believe they wanted to t us up. My granddad probably rolled over in his grave tonight. Go shox

        • Part of the reason they probably wanted to T us was for booing the sportsmanship code...
Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

              • 1. Those refs suck.

                2. Kyles' 3 from the corner toward the end was HUGE.

                3. I thought Blair was player of the game.

                4. I hope Felter makes his grades. We need a 5th big, if just for a couple minutes a game.

                5. Didn't realize that was Garlon Green, a former WSU recruit, wish I would have, woulda liked to have watched him.

                6. Utterly fantastic play by Stutz.

                7. Good crowd, I thought.

                8. The guy that runs the big screen; replays, etc. has no sense of rhythm or timing. That should provide a huge boost for momentum, not slow it down.

Yes, for about 2-3 minutes the video board went dark. Don't know why but it almost sucked all of the energy out of the game. Thankfully the fans brought some in reserve!

I can't count how many times over the last few years that the "decibel meter" graphic is run at the end of a timeout... right before we shoot a free throw.

                    • Just looking over the boxscore, I noted that Clevin, Toure', and David each had 5 assists.

David also had 0 turnovers with those 5 assists. David is now leading the Valley in assist to turnover ratio!

I've noticed that too. Not the greatest awareness by the folks running the show. Would like to see this get better since our crowd is a huge asset and we should maximize its impact.

Everyone knows David's physical upside. The fact that he is turning into a very smart basketball decision-maker suggests that he is not that far away from being a consistent major contributor.

We saw what he can do scoring the ball when we need him to in the UMKC game. Not many guys with that scoring ability are willing to put most of their effort into defense and setting up their teammates, but David has done just that.

                            • What about them Shocks? Nice balance in scoring. We took their best comeback shot in the 2nd Half, foul fest and all, and still won by 12!!!. Now that is what I like to see. When we shoot 89.3% from the charity stripe and out rebound a team by 11, that enhances our ability to win games. Blair did not start the game but still had 28 minutes on the court with 8 rebounts and 14 points. Durley, Hannah and Toure were just solid last night.

Did I understand from Mike Kennedy that these were the same refs from the game with TCU last year and they only called 2 fouls on them the whole game last Season? If so, history was made because I think we got 3 technical fouls called on them last night which would surpass the total of fouls in our game last year called against them? Not sure if I heard that correctly because it does not sound logical. Even so, I will take 25-28 free throws made any time. Our players were focused last night shooting free throws. We still have along ways to go, but so far, so good!!!!!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

                              • In my opinion from afar, having only been able to witness the Shocks in person vs. Iowa, Blair is the difference for this team.

Having a big guy who can come off the bench and do what he does is nothing short of amazing.
