The Missouri Valley is doing pretty well right now but I haven't seen much press on it? Has anyone caught any articles about the how the Valley is doing to this point?

That may be, but we're still not going to have impressive numbers heading into conference play. Too many bad teams. Again, we couldn't help Pitt and Iowa being down or the fact that we played Cleveland State or FDU. But it is what it is and it isn't pretty.

The CBE really screwed us this year with the first 2 games. A D2 opponent? Come on! We deserve better than that. If the tournament weren't so close to home, I would say no to them if they ever asked us back.

HCGM said during a coach's show that the CBE tried and couldn't any D-1 subs for the chi-town team that violated their contract and pulled out of the tourney and Ark-Mont was the only taker. The CBE gave Wichita State a choice to pass or play and the staff chose to play. A wise decision given what happened to Clevin who would have had to sit out the Iowa game had they not played Ark-Mont.

It’s a mixed blessings but a blessing none the less.

I believe playing one D2 team is ignored and doesn't even count in the SOS. Right?

At least the D2 team has zero effect on the RPI. Also doesn't count as a game on the resume for what that's worth.
