I'm going to say it was SIU, unless there was the slightest chance Mason was ranked (and I am certain they weren't).

If it wasn't either of those 2 then it would have been CU back in Coliseum......I think 02-03.

Paul S. says Oklahoma State was the last ranked team to come into Koch Arena to play us.

I tried to find the article--I think it was from Sunday's "Shocker Report" in the Eagle.

OSU was the last ranked non-conference opponent (Turgeon's first year), per the Suellentrop piece.

Creighton, the ugly dawgs and possibly Drake have come to town ranked since then.

I will bet you a beverage, hot soft pretzel and a cheeseburger if you are correct. Since we have played the 4th easiest schedule in the nation, I'm going to say you will be wrong.

Or, if you are not hungry, I will purchase a nice clothing article and the mdse shop if you want. Not to exceed 25 dollars though. :D

I hope I am wrong, since a win against them will be our only resume' builder, but I don't wear the yellow sunglasses. I thought you didn't either.

I think we win this game by six. We match up very well with Tech, are much deeper, much bigger and are at home! There best player is Singletary, Ellis and Blair will shut him down. Okorie is their best three point shooter at 40% everyone else is around 30%. I don't think they will have an answer inside for Stutz and Durley and as long as they stay out of foul trouble we should pound the ball inside. GO Shox!

What's all this we'll win by 5, 6 or 10? Have you guys been paying attention? We're blowing people out by 20 - 40 points every night. I look for that to continue.

                    I'm down with that bet.

I don't wear the yellow sunglasses either but our bad SOS simply doesn't mean we automatically lose the game. Our bad SOS means we can't use our 7-1 record to prove that we are a good basketball team, as of yet.

Besides the OT home win over Washington, TTech is in the same boat as us. All home patsy wins with a 2 point road win at a bad team.

Of course, it's gonna be one of our biggest tests, but I like our chances in a "big" game at home.

This is Texas Tech. Not Texas.

Was UNI ranked when we played them here last year?

This is still a Texas Tech that will probably finish in the lower half of the Big XII. We should beat them AT HOME if we are truely ready to compete in the top 3 in the Valley.

Yes that is the same thing I said about Pitt, but we still shouldn't have lost to them IMHO.

Regardless this team has proven they play well at home beginning with the last half of last year.

                          Shox - 68
                          Tech - 62

                            This statement confuses me.

Basically I still don't think Pitt is that good and that is a team that the Shox should have beaten. The Shox shouldn't have lost to them. Just my opinion though.

I think what he means is that if we hadn't played like total dog crap, with Hannah, it is probably no worse than 50/50 shot that we win that game.
