This is what happens when we play on ESPN. I couldn't care less about the Cinci/Vandy game but we'll get stuck missing at lest half of the first half...
By far, the biggest challenge facing our team is one of belief.
If our guys prepare for Pittsburgh, and believe in what we do and what we should do, then we are PLENTY good enough to win more than our fair share of games at this point against the Panthers on a neutral court.
If our guys concentrate on playing the Big East runners up from last season, the #4 team in the country, an Elite 8 team, a Big East powerhouse.....then we're in big trouble.
With our without Clevin, on Monday November 23, this Wichita State team is big enough, strong enough, talented enough and well coached enough to beat the Pittsburgh Panthers more often than not on a neutral floor. Whether or not they will believe that Monday at 6:30pm will determine their fate, and quite possibly a clear picture of the potential success, or lack thereof, for this season's team.
We were beat out of the gate. I scouted Pitt and can tell you that was there best game to date, by far, but we were AWFUL in areas we needn't not be.
I did not like what I saw from this team last night. More in the game thread.
