      Pitt - 66

Durley will be the leading scorer
      Ellis will lead in rebounds
      Kyles will lead in dunks
I will go to sleep happy and await Texas
I can't be there either--it would just be impossible with work, but...

I hope Ellis is (in addition to what you've stated) the monster defensive presence that he's been so far this season. I love his frenetic, in-your- face-with-those-long-arms approach. In all of coach Marshall's tenure so far, he's the guy that has gotten the closest to what could be considered 'defending like your hair is on fire'. Against Pitt we just need to go in there and claim the game as our own--it's our night and our opportunity to start bringing the WSU name back to the surface of the national scene. This could be a nice first step in that direction.

If we get past this game and are lucky enough to win, we've won more than just the game, but some great national exposure--whether or not we can beat Texas or not.

I hope it catches on to the others--especially the younger players.

There will be 10 in our group.

I miss the special chants that we used to have for Coooooooz and Ooooooogiri. The only special chant that we've come up with is singing Toure, Toure, Toure, Toure. Toure, Toure. (Done to the soccer chanting of Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole.) Maybe we could get this started in KC.

Will be there as always. I think the oddsmakers will favor Pitt by 3 or so (just guessing) but I am hoping for a close win...Its early in the season, they travel and we will have all the fans....I like our chances

The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

                    Texas

"I don't think Texas fans start paying attention to basketball in large numbers until the football season is over, especially this year when they are vying for a national championship."

DJ, I've spent some time in Austin, and they'd have a disappointing crowd at this time of year for a nondescript foe like Iowa even if the game were played in Austin. Rick Barnes has frequently lamented the lack of numbers his teams draw.

Their delegation is likely to consist of team friends and family, plus a few KC-area alums who are curious to see the team live and know they won't get many chances. As for regular fans making the trip for Austin or elsewhere in Texas, I doubt that they'd fill a hotel meeting room.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

We win on a last second 3 pointer.

                        WSU 74
                        Pitt 73

Or we miss the shot and lose.

                        WSU 71
                        Pitt 73

Either way, it will be close the whole game with no one having more than a 5-10 point lead.

I suppose it could be, but I am hoping it isn't.
You can't have have a tough battle without touching the other guy a little bit. Also Confuscius say "he who has more touches have better chance win game"!

At least you didn't say "douche battle". Now THAT would be bothersome.

They are forced to foul with 1:00 left and it doesn't work out for 'em so we get to rack the score up on 'ema bit at the end.
