“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”
veritas, good post, thanks for not slamming me like all the other people on this board do that believe nobody else is allowed to have an opinion. I agree with what you are saying about Perry in that when he is a senior in high school, it may not matter what college he picks, because it could just be a 1 year stay before the NBA. I'd love to see him stay here, and I'd love to be able to say that we recruited a top 5 or 10 (wherever he will be) prospect. The scary thing is, I think by the time he is a senior, he will be so good that he will jump straight to the NBA. I just hope he doesn't make the same mistakes that one Korleone Young did
Fortunately for us, the only way Perry could go pro straight out of high school is by going to Europe or some minor league in the US where he won't be paid as much. The new rule that does not allow NBA to take players straight out of high school may be what gives us a shot at Mr. Ellis.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....
.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Thanks for pointing that out.
As expected, shockerfanmas isn't quite as educated and well-rounded as he would like everyone to think he is.
I've never seen a person get corrected and put in his place so many times in the last 24 hours as he has.
Dense.
