I heard the dufus call in and ask specifically if coach would comment on the recruitment of Perry Ellis! People, coaches can't comment on specific players during recruitment. Regardless of whether they are actually recruiting that specific player or not.

Mike jumped in and said that coaches are prohibited from commenting on specific players. I would expect Coach to recruit Ellis even if it is a longshot. Building good report by recruiting the city league is crucial. And, that's basically what coach said in his response.

I'm sure the same thing was echoed around during the Mo Evans recruiting days... and look how bad our program was then.

most definitely, WSU should be recruiting the local athletes that have potential, like Perry Ellis, Jalan Williams, and others. Whether or not we have a chance to get Perry is beside the point. We need to at least try. He is a guy that could be a difference maker!

One thing I liked and found interesting from the show was coaches comment that Graham Hatch works harder than anyone he's been around in his 25 years of coaching. :clap:
