Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

The problem with our plan is that we had to risk a player's health. Who knew we could get roughly the same results by simply failing to turn in documentation confirming a player's amateur status?

(http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/knee.../mclinjury.htm says Grade I MCL Tear: "Most athletes miss 1-2 weeks of play." and Grade II MCL Tear: "The pain and swelling is more significant, and usually a period of 3-4 weeks of rest is necessary.")
I question the long term effects of returning to play so soon. http://www.ucsfhealth.org/adult/medi...reatments.html
On average, it takes six weeks for a MCL injury to heal. The initial treatment for most grade 1, 2 or 3 MCL tears focuses on reducing the pain and inflammation in the knee while immobilizing the knee to keep it stabilized. Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:

"Sounds like Creighton to me." = Creighton has a history of doing the same.
"Who knew we could get roughly the same results by simply failing to turn in documentation confirming a player's amateur status?" = Not in Wichita State's history.
I know you're emotional about the temporary loss of your player, and came to Shockernet only to see us talking about it, but please think things through a little more before you lash out with posts devoid of reason.
Let me know if you need me to hold your hand through anything else. The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

Even though the odds are against it and I don't think it'll happen, I'm still hoping that Creighton can get an important non-con. win against a Dayton. It's happened before to Valley teams were not supposed to win and even at the bottom of the conference. That's what happened in 2006 with ISU against Indiana, etc.
