They probably will for maybe 20 mins....

Actually, let me ask though. What makes you feel that way? Just curious. And I know the "without Hannah" stuff. But what else?

TCU only beat a church team by 5?

I don't know...It just seems like they have been taking care of there business. They gave themselves a chance to win that Villanova Game but they only scored 6 points in the final 12 minutes...lol. IF they shoot like the way they did in the first half against 'Nova for most of the game against us...it could be a good game.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Well if that is true then our team isn't NEAR as good as top 3 in the Valley regardless....I mean come on. Take away the name on their jersey...they aren't even upper half of Big East....

Look, Hannah is important yes. But there is NO REASON we can't beat Pitt without him...

They are without their 2 biggest returning players also right now....
Hannah is our offense and we will be lost with TM or DK or KM running the point against a team like this, this early in the year. No, Pitt isn't the same Pitt of last year, but even on an off night (like tonight for example), they're capable of coming from way behind and winning.

Our chances of beating Pitt were 40-60 IMO with Hannah anyways. Without him, we won't have a chance. Unless Pitt throws up bricks all night long..

            Sorry.
Wow...LOL...just wow. Let's see how this team does before we throw all the other players under a bus!!!

But I guess I'll get the old "I told you so" WHEN we beat Pitt...it's all good.

Pitt would struggle against Missouri St...seriously. They will SUCK until they get their players back and their young players have time to improve.
Who in the hell did I throw under the bus? Please tell me everything I said that was "low-blowish", "out-of-line", or impractical. I'll be waiting..

It appears this whole discussion is not worth debating seeing how you have the yellow-colored specs plastered on with superglue.

Kinda funny. Most of your last paragraph kinda sounds like somebody familiar.. us, perhaps? Ah, never. We're gonna win the Valley by 4 games this year. Nevermind...

            ... No really, deuces.

Maybe...but be careful with just this 'Nova game. They may not have been focused or ready to go hard at it. Perhaps they thought they could just show up and beat them. Nova did end up KILLING them. I am sure FDU was FIRED UP to play a #5 team also. That can help keep them in a game for a while.

Like I said, maybe they will but I don't see it. They are picked pretty close to last in their conference. They have a team that was pretty much the worst defensive team in the country last year. Now maybe their first year head coach is a miracle worker, but I doubt it. Plus remember they will only have tomorrow to prepare for us and get ready to play again on Sunday. Depending on when they travel to Wichita, they won't have long at all to work on anything they need to work on. We've had a whole week just practicing and getting better. I think the Shox will be ready...and will roll by at least 15pts.

Well since you feel the rest of the team is so horrible without Hannah, I just figured that is what you are doing LOL.

Maybe you are right, but I doubt it. You make it sound like Pitt is just gonna roll over us. If that happens then this Shocker team is no better than a play in team again this year.

Kinda like if we struggle against FDU...could be a LONNNNGGGGG year if things don't turn around quick.

Hannah is important...I get it. But this team doesn't automatically suck without him. This team can still get it done...that's all I'm sayin.

And my last paragraph sounds nothing like us. Our team even without Hannah will have TONNNSSS more experience then Pitt will.

Now you're just making stuff up. Now I'm kinda starting to get a little pee'ved.

But to clarify, this will be my last post in this thread regarding this, as I don't wanna sidetrack it any further than I already have.

Where did I say everyone, other than Hannah, was horrible? Are you seriously not seeing anything I stated at all whatsoever?

Where did I say "Pitt is gonna roll us"?

Again, your reading comp skills need tweaking. I simply said our chances, even with Hannah, are below 50% given our problems/issues against a very athletic Big East team. For some reason, you think we are perfect, and looked like the Lakers against Newman last weekend. For some reason, you fail to acknowledge our potential problems/issues/disadvantages, etc.

Also, you seem to be giving Nova a pass on a shytty half against FDU, simply because it's their first game and they're the favorite. But if the same thing were to happen against us, it's season over? Yes, we should dominate FDU, but please don't put too much stock into our very first game of the season without our starting PG who was a lot of our offense last year.

I'm excited by the potential this team has to offer this year too. But thinking every game for us is gonna be a blowout or a win is setting yourself up with a LOT of disappointment this year.

You said Shox had ZERO chance without Hannah....nuff said.

And I said we should beat FDU by 15 and that they might keep it close for 20 mins.

Anyway, we are both too stubborn to back down. So this will be my last post on this as well. I guess we'll just see what happens.

Also, I doubt we blow many teams out this year. But if any this SHOULD be one of them on Sunday. I have ZERO worry about our offense against FDU. The question will be if the defense will show up....and I think it will.

Solid effort by UNI and Bradley tonight. The line on the UNI game was 4 so I guess they overaccomplished and losing by 10 at BYU is nothing to be ashamed of.

The thing is, if the Valley wants multiple bids this year, it's gonna have to do more than what it's supposed to do..

Yeah that is true. Not too many opportunities for the Valley, have to take care of a few of them. And even MORE importantly no losing to the UMKC's of the world!! Valley needs to get back to winning 70-80% of the non-conference games.
