  • Early scrimmage

K-State fans got to see their team scrimmage (i'm guessing at midnight madness). They're all buzzing from that and posting pics of it on Scout.com, but they seem to be mum about the WSU scrimmage that is coming up. Seems a bit strange. Then again, that's what a "friendly scimmage" is all about... For some reason it just seems like KU would handle it differently. A. There wouldn't be anything "friendly" about it, they would refuse to scimmage WSU under any circumstances. B. If for some reason they did agree to it, their entire extremely cocky fan base and students would already be talking loads of smack.

Talkin' smack prior to a friggin' scrimmage? I believe KSU had an open scrimmage at 9:00 Sat. prior to the Colorado game. A person would have to be a complete idiot to talk smack before or after a 'closed' scrimmage.

Even this year KU is afraid of losing to WSU, even in a closed scrimmage. We all know the universe-altering consequences of that.

Would those universe-altering consequences be similar to what Brady Morningstar was looking for when he got pulled over recently?

According to the sources in my head we dominated the Kitties and a handful of them actually left CKA in tears and saying that what happened shouldn't since they play in the mighty B12.

Interesting. Last year it was just the opposite. Our frontcourt did a better job than our backcourt did on them.

Interesting read. At the very least it looks like WSU held their own based on the quote:

He believed that they may have won the scrimmage
Hopefully we will get some leaks on the "good, bad and ugly" from the WSU side.

Actually...If I wanted to I bet I could get some great information on the scrimmage. I know a guy who works inside the Basketball Department....lol I just remembered that.

Me? ... Oh, wait; that was a dream. There I was, running out with the team and telling my assistants to get ready for a victory over KU ... and then the alarm went off.

At least I didn't step out of the shower and discover that the previous year was a dream. ;-)

BTW: I know there is an english department, a chemistry department, etc. but I've never heard of a "Basketball Department."
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

i had heard from an inside source that WSU "won". Doesn't mean much in scrimmages, but either way it was nice to hear.
