Maybe WSU didn't get the memo? :D

    This might be a problem:

    Is there a registration deadline?

No. However, college-bound student-athletes must be certified as an amateur before they may receive an athletics scholarship or practice or compete at a Division I or II institution.
I wonder if the problem then stems from a misunderstanding of the specifics of this rule. Perhaps someone at WSU mistakenly thought sending in the paperwork was unnecessary for a transfer, but since the document is only required of D I and D II and not JuCo players, it is unlikely they would have already had the necessary form on file.

Makes me wonder if Chamberlain would be going through the same ordeal had he remained?
I wonder whether we got the paperwork in for Mantas and Ramone? It is possible that since 2007, the administration didn't do what they were supposed to in regards to JUCO players on this point and that this was discovered by Sexton, not caused by him.

Perhaps someone on this board knows what was going on internally, but from the outside, the more I hear the more it seems hard to know where the root of the problem lies. It could have started all the way back in 2007. It could have started when Sexton took over. From the outside, it is hard to know.

      You are right.

We may have to hire someone just so we can pin all this on them and fire them.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

          Moslem?

Do you get some sort of an endorphin high by spelling it in such a haute manner?

You really are an elitist moonbat who lives in a completely different galaxy from even the average, run-of-the-mill liberal. Information transmissions from fellow liberals on Planet Obama must take years at light speed to reach your particular universe.

          Sheesh...

Yeah; you're right. I used that haute tool, google, to check my spelling. Only elitist moonbats who live in a completely different galaxy from even the average, run-of-the-mill liberal use google.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

I am going to be on the sidelines for this one.
              You won't stay there long.
The temptation to chime in will be too much to resist.
Besides, after someone throws in one Pro-Obama comment in this thread, your fingers will burn up the keyboard in nuclear-like fashion. 8)

You needed spell check to assist you in composing the proper name of the most oft-subscribed religion in the world, and US-based google corrected you to a spelling not commonly used in North America?

                Seems totally plausible.

                Moslem...

                Pak-I-stan...

                Afgan-I-stan...

Who do these pronunciations most remind you of?

                You're not a PBO...

                ...by chance, are you?

Looks like the normal distribution curve might be sliding a bit to the right.

                    • I know nothing about the man except what I have gleamed from your comments. I have never seen him, never heard him speak, but have questioned several times if anyone has any idea as to whether he has any blue print or plan for the future concerning WSU sports.

Since, the silence has been deafening, I have to assume the answer is No.

I just have one question for sometime in the distant future:

Is this the right man to be in charge of selecting GM's replacement?

I have found Jody and her staff engaging, professional, passionate and friendly (in a serious sort of way) in my very limited interaction with them.

Frankly, I'm not sure it's all that important if "lower level" staffers like any of the coaches or not.

An interesting comment if these same "lower level staffers" (i.e. just below ADES) are now leaving and you're worried about their departure.

If the good Dr sees this, he can answer this as well. As for me, I doubt that it goes Beggs, ADES, then directly to "lower level staffers".

                          • I give ADES a D, and I find his lack of communication irritating to say the least.

Upon further review, I take it back.

If WSU hires a professional search firm, the probably OK.

If ADS chooses to do it on his own, then hardly.
