If I'm going to "distroy" my credibility, at least spell the word right.
Point taken. That's what I get for posting after 10PM. :D

The point was maybe a new coach would be able to harness his talent without the attitude issues. I think you'd agree that besides OE, he's the best returning player to the league, and he has two years left. I really think P' has enough raw talent to develop into a good pro player.
Plus, it's a fantasy draft. No reason to get too upset by it...
I've looked at some other MVC forums and nobody (that I can recall) agreed with your choice of P'. Also, you can't just ignore the "chemistry" problem on the Creighton team; OK, you can but most MVC fans won't. I think OE, Koch and several other players would be picked by most MVC fans before Stinnett, even without the attitude issues.
Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful: Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.
P'unk is far from a complete player with certain deficiencies in his game. He is not what you would call a fundamentally sound player nor is he a consistent threat from the perimeter. What he is is an athletically gifted player that is always in and around the ball making things happen (good and bad). Unless he develops a more fundamentally rounded game I don't see him stepping on an NBA court. Compare him to Mo Evans and you'll quickly see his shortcmings.

Ok... good argument. Let me throw a twist into it.
I don't know how much you all follow the Big East, but it sounds like you just described Dar Tucker of DePaul. He's the same player as P' but two inches taller. P' still has two years to develop that fundamentally sound game, and he has a pretty good coach to help him.
But how much did he improve from his freshman to sophomore year?
I don't see him as the Paul Miller, Anthony Tolliver types who either wanted to learn and improve or just had the light come on. P'Allen is a P'outing P'diva.
I would submit that there's plenty of talent in the Valley to simply draft someone 1st overall on the potential that he might get his attitude straightened out.
If you're going to draft on potential, you might as well go with someone at or above 6'10".
2 inches can be alot of inches on a basketball player.

But you have him being drafted by a coach you gave a C- to previously. The worst grade of all the coaches.
I think an interesting way to do the "draft" is to let the fans draft the players. Do the the message boards in draft order and give them a day or two to "draft" the player. Lets see how the fans would draft the teams.

This is an interesting concept. It might be something to think about as the summer progresses.
