Royal .... Thanks for all your efforts. You helped make this a board that I have to check everyday, and that's fun to be on. It is, without a doubt, the most professional, the most organized, and the most appealing sports board in the MVC. The readibility of the board gets an A+.

For what it is worth, I developed online systems (mainframe and PC) for over 30 years, and I am stingy with my compliments.

I hope ShockBand continues in your wake.

Wow, I don't know that "Thanks" is enough. I moved to Springfield, MO five years ago and didn't realize SN was out there. I was starved for any tidbit about the Shocks and found SN on a search. I've been an addict ever since. I am on here every day and enjoy all of the news, rumors, bantering, wild speculation, and even some of...well a few of cold's post. It keeps me pumped about the Shockers even when I'm living in Bear country.

Royal...YOU ARE THE MAN. Thank You Very Much !!!!

Royal, I can't imagine the amount of work you've had to put into this site for 12 years. Leaving WSU and Kansas was tough but Shockernet has been my lifeline. I can't thank you enough for providing me with a source of information that is on constant "refresh".

What a superb job you have accomplished over the years. Always enjoyed your posts as they showed tremendous insight and were to the point.

Glad to hear you will still be with us commenting and that you will now be able to enjoy the fruits of your past labor without having to be concerned with the admin side of the house.

Thank you, Royal, for all you have done.

And while my passion for Wichita State sports hasn't waned, my passion for developing ShockerNet has. You all deserve someone at the helm who will give the site the attention it deserves.

I can't stress enough that what has made ShockerNet such a great place is the membership and participation of all of you. I've truly enjoyed the years of banter and will continue to do so.

With that said, rather than put the site up for sale to the highest bidder, I wanted to make sure it would fall into good hands. So without further adieu, it is my pleasure to introduce you to your new Grand Poobah, . . . ShockBand!!!
I guess I am the last to know.

Thanks for your leadership, firm and fair management practices and long hours of work.

Now that Band is the head knocker, perhaps he will link "My Girl" to the Men's Basketball page and it can play in the background as we read posts.

                          Thanks Royal!!!!!!

All your hard work on this site has been VERY appreciated over the years. Before I found this site a few years ago it was very hard to keep up with the Shockers here in Tucson. This site has helped so much to keep current on my beloved Shockers.

                          Thanks again, so very much!!!!!!!!!!

Remember what Elizabeth said. "Oh. Where you going?... Oh, you men are all alike. Seven or eight quick ones and then you're out with the boys to boast and brag. YOU BETTER KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT."

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.
