If Altman wants a veteran player gone, he's got to have some sort of alternate plan in mind.

Not that I care what's going on with those chili holes.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

Maybe the end of Creighton's reign at the top?

Kicking these guys in the grapes from now on is going to be fun.

That has got to be getting close to a declaration of war, doesn't it?

I wasn't buying the idea that CU was a team on the rise and a real contender for next year before this news and now I am certain they aren't a contender.

Their lose of Woodfox and Dotzler puts them in a worse position than WSU was with losing Paul after the Sweet 16.

Like WSU, they lose a Valley POY who was the go to guy and bailed them out when they really needed a basket. Booker put CU on his back a large number of times this year and that (alongside 47% 3-point shooting) is not easily replaced.

Like WSU, CU will now have to turn to a temperamental junior SG to be the go to guy (which didn't work out so well with WSU), and Sean wasn't a fraction of the off the court disaster that P'unk is.

Dotzler, while not a scoring threat, had 121 assists to only 35 turnovers. In addition, he had 70 steals. In other words, he forced twice as many turnovers for CU opponents as he committed. Given CU's awful performance on the boards, they relied on forcing a lot more turnovers than they committed to keep from having a massive disparity in shot attempts. Dotzler was the key to both created opponent turnovers and protecting the ball. In addition, he was a senior point guard who was unselfish and made the offense run. Again, not easy to replace.

Witter was second to Dotzler in assists and third in steals, although with a lot more turnovers (not as many as P'unk though). If he's not back, CU will have a sophomore and a freshman at point.

Even with Witter and Walker I think that the loss of Woodfox and Dotzler is a lot bigger than many people apparently believe, but take away even more experienced guard play and post depth from a team in real need of it, things could be pretty ugly.

If this is true that P'iss is the root of these problems then he must have pictures of Altman. A few years back Dana claimed ignorance of Terrel Taylors 20 or so incidents with the authorities but I don't remember anyone leaving the team because of Taylor.

This is almost unbelievable. If it is true it almost makes me wish P'iss was a freshman. He would have more time to screw them up.

1 of 2 is official as Witter leaves. I still find this nearly impossible to believe. A senior who has contributed BIG time decides to transfer.
