Surprise, surprise, P causing trouble. Witter wouldn't be a big loss, but Walker was playing pretty well toward the end of the season. If true the best part about this is that the sCUm will lose a solid contributor in Walker, but still keep the cancer on their team.
I wouldn't say Witter isn't a big loss. 7.7 pts, 20 minutes, and 2.2 assists from their most experienced returning guard is pretty significant. I can see where he would expect to be the starting PG next year. Without him, their depth at that position will suffer greatly, leaving them only with Stinnett, Young and Korver.
CU may have talent, but from what I can tell they have no depth. Losing one or both of them will not bode well next year, unless their newcomers are all that. Even then, they'll still have depth problems.
There is a post on the CU board from someone who appears to be close to Witter saying that Altman doesn't want him back. So I'd say it's a good chance he's gone.
And despite our dislike of Perrault, I suspect he probably has pretty good sources.

EXACTLY!
I LOVE it!!!! :good: :good:
First their hero Matty P goes off the air. Then they find out they're potentially losing two key returners in their quest to get to the NCAA's. And then to find out P'unk is the cause for half of it.. Doesn't get any better than this! sCUm deserves what sCUm gets.
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

P'Allen causing off court problems   --- HOLD THE PRESSES, THIS IS ASTONISHING NEWS!  --- That being the case, I wouldn't imagine it would set well with some team members if the coaching staff gave preferential treatment to him because of those same issues. P'Allen may have skills, but he is more baggage than I would want to put up with.
It certainly appears they are both gone. Unfortunate to say the least. From all accounts both were good kids and decent players...Witter was streaky but he scared the hell out of me.
He had 40+ in one game I'm certain.
Sad for the kids.....couldn't happen to a better Husker fan base though.
