1)You didn't challenge X and win.

2)After his freshman year in college, you did not stop the turnaround jumper, period.

3)He was not just an NBA player, he was a really good NBA player. If he had played anywhere but Seattle, I have to think he would have made more than 1 All Star game. 12 seasons, 16 points a game.

Dude averaged more than 20 points and about 7 boards a game (at a height that was MUCH closer to 6'4" than 6'7" btw) for his first 6 years in the league.

A few highlights...

Mcdaniels, Oakley and Mason......that was a threesome that everyone in the NBA feared at that time.
