I really wish I would've been around to see this guy play in person.

I had the great pleasure of seeing X play on several occasions. He was the most intense player I have ever seen. His turn-around jumper was a thing of beauty and there was one one that could stop it or alter it, even the seven footers. If you were the coach of an opposing team don't question his stats on rebounds if you didn't want to see him grab 20+ against you. It was news if X didn't record a double double.

I remember one play. With WSU down one or tied, sorry it's been a long time and I just remember the results, Carr launched around a twenty foot shot. Papke tipped the ball off the glass and then X came in, way above everyone, and threw it down.

A talent like X only comes around about once in a fans lifetime. We had Carr, Livingston, Sherrod and X in a period of time and we did dominate nearly everyone we played. Unfortunately we were on probation for letting a player use a winter coat. KU pays players and suffers no significant probation. The NCAA is a joke.
