Fortunately, I'll be running by home first, so if they win, I can do it then. I may only have room for one more game, though. :-x

I also don't believe I have ever heard Greg Marshall and Wichita St. mentioned so many times in a game in which they weren't playing. It seems that it comes up about every 5 minutes.

I know, they made comments like "Gregg Marshall got to be smiling now". Then they also briefly talked about Reggie Chamberlain departure.

The think I've noticed is that several times he has outran some very quick OH guards down the court. His finishing will get better with time, but he protects the ball well, unlike the #26 rated player in the country, and is very strong in the lane.

I've noticed a couple defensive lapses, which will be the thing that will keep him off the floor next year. How much that will be is the question.

Unfortunately, it's about 7 D1 players against 2.


Kenny has plenty of room for improvement. Some things haven't changed since I saw him 2 or 3 times earlier this season.

He still dribbles the ball too high. He needs to work on his jumper and his free throws.

He needs to work on defensive intensity. He goes for a lot of steals and allows his physical ability to carry him. It works against most high school players...he will have to change that.

Now for the positives:

He's the fastest player I've ever seen coming in to WSU.

He is an OUTSTANDING leaper.

His freakishly long arms remind me of Paul Pressey...only longer.

His passes are more crisp and sharp than anyone on our team, by a LOOOOONG ways.

He takes it to the hole like NO ONE you have seen and he can finish, big time.

Every single player on our team next year will shoot a better percentage, not (only) because of his ability to pass, but because he is going to draw attention and people will have to help and everyone else is going to have slightly easier shots.

I saw a lot of Toure last year. Toure was a better basketball player, but not by much. Kenny has a lot more talent, especially in his physicality. Toure is special. Kenny has much more upside if you can believe it.

It's a blowout now. Oak Hill just is too deep and Pinewood is tired.

But Kenny had an awesome putback that didn't count due to a foul prior to it.

I still am very impressed and know that HCGM will correct the deficiencies that he has.
