It seems that Memphis isn't the only one interested in Anderson.

Georgia officials have targeted Missouri's Mike Anderson as their next basketball coach.

Forgot tp mention (in case no one had seen it yet) that the Washington State coaching position is now open. Bennett moved on to Virginia. And the dominoes continue to fall.

With all this kind of money being flashed around, I wonder at what point Mark Few and the Zags part ways. That will be a sad day for me, but a great payday for Coach Few. The financial spread between the Big Boys and the rest of college basketball continues to widen.

Few is rumored to be the top candidate for the Zona job...

Cousins WILL follow. Wall probably will sign there as well. Expect Henry to be let out of his agreement and go there as well.

Talk about buying a championship in the "Amateur" NCAA!!

There's a good chance Xavier Henry lands at the other UK.

He and Stephenson going together could make them SCARY good next year if Collins and Aldrich both stay, which they should.

Expect a couple transfers from that school if they do.

I still expect Henry to go to UK, unless he agrees not to.

Also look out for the Fantastic 5....(Henry, Dennis, Stephenson, Cousins, and Orton if he stays)

Anderson turns down Georgia, stays at Missouri and signs a 7 year deal. That surprises me a little.

Seems like a good move to me, I just don't see how a job at Georgia is step up from one at Missouri.

Only a small step to be sure, but leaving a half-mil a year on the table.............?

Hopefully that means it's not just about the money for some coaches.

Actually, I'm glad he's staying at Missouri and hope he does well. I don't know the number of years Georgia was offering, but he's leaving about $700,000 per year on the table. I believe he also will lose several good players this year and he's now set a pretty high bar that the Mizzu fans will expect to continue. I agree with pie n eye -- Hopefully that means it's not just about the money for some coaches.
