With that said, Cold what exactly did Turfin post that brought out a such vapid response towards him as above?
I realize on SN you fashion yourself as an educated, personally successful individual, but understand that the basic psychology/sociology behind posts like yours would generally indicate otherwise.

Lol, ESPN is already talking about flight plans from Florida to Kentucky. Others are already saying BD is going to Kentucky. (Gainsville Sun)
If BG is smart (he gets out of coaching and takes his money and runs) he uses a year off to do recruiting outside of the NCAA reqs. Then he takes a job and brings people in.

WOW! It is surprising that even in UK country they would run somebody so quickly. Did they not know when they interviewed him that he wasn't a good fit? Did he all of a sudden become a bad fit or not good with the local yokals in Lexington? I'm a firm believer that a coach needs AT LEAST 3 full years to make an impact. Particularly when the team is left in a state like UK was. They hadn't had any impact recruits for a couple of years and were hurting for talent Tubby's last couple of years.
So, if Donovan is the guy, where does that leave Florida? Anthony Grant at VCU maybe? Is he ready for a bigtime job like Florida? BTW, Donovan's Florida team finished 9-7 in a very weak SEC this year. They were 2-4 against the top two teams in each division. Although, his team was really young.

Donovan put out a statement that he is not interested in ANY job that comes open as he is perfectly happy at Florida.
Didn't we hear that same statement two years ago when the Magic came calling?
Florida made a statement that Donovan is not leaving.
Kentucky is also denying that there is a 7 year contract with a $6 million buyout for BG. They have apparently been operating on a Memorandum of Understanding on a yearly basis -- the first sentence of that Memorandum of Understanding stays that a 7 year contract "will be negotiated." The lawyers will be making mucho bucks on this one if some kind of settlement isn't worked out.

Gillispie was 40-27 at Kentucky and had a seven-year deal, which stipulated he would receive a $6 million buyout if he were let go after two seasons. He led the Wildcats to a 22-14 record this season and Kentucky failed to make the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1991.
Where does he go now? Back to UTEP? Perhaps he can take over one of the failing Iowa programs?

Rumor on the street among some Aggie boosters is that BCG didn't sign the UK contract - just like he didn't sign his aTm contract - because he didn't like the "personal behavior" clause (even though this is the internet I won't repeat any additional rumors I heard about him that would pertain to this area). So that's what might be pushing the contract into "Memo of Understanding" and "year-to-year" status.
As far as Turf1n and numbnut - I haven't read the board rules in a while, but I would think there's something about personal attacks in there...
