Back from the ticket office where at 12:30 there were approx. half a dozen people there. Factoring in all the front row tickets Shockernetters are snatching online Iām prepared to be disappointed in the turnout. Hopefully the team is more excited than the fair weather fans.

Got 108, row 1a
Anybody know what 1a is oppossed to 1b?
You will have the press infront of you however you will have good leg space and no fear of hitting anybody infront of you when you jump to cheer.
I myself was trying to grab those same seats but was unable to upgrade to them. those seats in particular in 1a fit my viewing pleasure and I dont mind sitting behind the press.

Many of these folks have less money to throw around these days and a short window of opportunity to find takers for comp tickets.
The students are on Spring Break.

4 tickets behind the shocker bench ...should be a blast....3 hours of driving but well worth it1/16/2010 on the "Screw at the Q" HCGM... " Ive never seen a foul parade like that...If you would of let me know it was going to be a foul parade I would of brought a different team" .... "dont talk to me about fouls....Ive got to go back and look at some tape... I have some thoughts but I need to look at the tape and then I will have something very strong to say"

Gotta remember that we've only really had 2 days to sell tickets and no real advertising except direct to those already with tickets.
If we are at 6500-7500 by tonight, with the added on line purchases followed by a blitz tonight in the media, I would expect very brisk sales tomorrow to get us to the 9k mark easily...maybe more.
Let's take care of business Wednesday. Early, late, you know the drill.
Then we can show off on Monday.

I agree with the 9K estimate...There will be some walk-up. If we get 9000, my guess is that will be 3 times what Stanford gets and that gets us another home game if we win. Anything over 8000 will be a good crowd...I am happy for our players. Ramone gets to say goodbye one more time and the rest will hit the ground running next year

Just got back from picking up my "will call" tickets. I picked up an additional (4) seats in 110 row 10. Pretty good seats, wish my season tickets were that good.
Ticket gal told me they had sold about 7000 as of about an hour ago.āTalk low, talk slow and don't say too much.ā

I'd expect a few more sales when people get off work. Some may have trouble doing a lunch run. Especially if there were worries about waiting in line.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan
