At the riosk of starting a topic, KU didn't wait for the dance to be stung by a "B" as they fall to Baylor.

Another "B" stings the hawks

The Ford Center is bad for us. We'll probably be a four seed. That's about where I thought we'd be at the beginning of the year.
KU fans are a bit jittery about the first-round game next week. The last time we were a four-seed it didn't turn out so well.

Although I don't mind seeing KU lose, I never understand us Shocker fans who poke fun at them. Not one of us would mind being in KU's pants right now, ranked in the Top 25, heading to the NCAA's (again).
If our program was anywhere near their level, then sure, we have room to poke fun, but it just seems wrong to poke fun at a program who has that much tradition, success and multiple championships.
Now, before anyone gets on my case calling me a closet KU Fan, a KU apologists, I am making a pre-emptive HELLZ NO I'M NOT!
It wouldn't be any different if KU fans started making fun at our baseball program on such Regional Tournament collapses at Arkansas and OU in recent memory. What the hell have they ever done in baseball.

Do you not think other message boards don't talk about other games? Who cares if we 'poke fun' or not? Should we applaud them for their loss? I don't get it.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

I would suspect KU will drop to a 4 seed, but it will probably be a good thing for this particular team to get embarrassed in the B12 tourney instead of the Dance. It will make them more prepared for the first round.
My personal opinion is that is KU makes the S16, they will have exceeded (reasonable) expectations given their youth.
Having said that, it is almost a borderline curse losing to "B" teams in the post season.
I'm not a KU fan, but I do think Bill Self is a helluva coach.
Can you imagine them drawing another B team in the first or second round?
