Not that he ever had a chance to move up from his current gig, but his little obsession with HCGM has probably ruined his resume, which is fine with me. He and his Parrots (my new name for CU fans) are all alike.

I went over to bjCafe and expected to find at least one poster in the Marshall topic to pipe and say that they would be just as upset and claiming that an NCAA bid was robbed from them if the roles were reversed.

But not a single word from a Parrot.

The closest thing was a non-CU fan in their game thread saying there is no way BW could have got the shot off in time.

One thing I know about WSU fans is that we know enough about the game and can display the objectivity to admit when we are given a gift. Most Parrots haven't got a clue.

I have always wondered why they hate Coach Marshall so much, but then i realized that their hatred for him is because they know he is a threat, and they are running scared, kind of like their D bag of a coach Dana Altman was in the last 4 minutes of the game on Friday.

Obviously I am way out numbered here but I guess I don't really understand why everyone here thinks all Creighton fans/coaches/players are so scared of you guys? I'm really not even trying to start WWIII here but honestly what makes you all think you are going to all of a sudden jump right past us? We have a pretty good team coming back next season, and I have already said that I think you guys will be much improved. But I guess I just don't see our 20 win streak ending anytime soon, so why would a young upcoming team in the Valley scare us so much? We were the exact same type of team last year as you guys were this year. We had one senior (Dane Watts) and a ton of young guys. We went on to win over 20 games again and it was considered a down year. Not to mention we swept you guys. I don't understand where you all are coming from in saying how scared all of us are of you.

Out of the last 6 or 7 games played between the two schools, many of them have came down to a few points or less.

If you really want a look of 'scared', rewind your dvr to the game on Friday and look at Diana's face from about the 10 minute mark on. That and all of the sCUm fans.

You may not want to admit it, but you know what's coming..

sCUm likes to underachieve. You got backed into a Valley co-championship. Maybe one day you'll actually do what's expected of you..

Talk to other CU fans, without premising what info you are looking for. Ask "What ya think about Wichita State next year?" and see the response you get.

Let me start over...

Much of Altman's success has been anchored around players who played well together and bought in. P'unk and quite a few youngsters seem to buck that tradition and definitely have a me-first attitude.

Maybe things will change, but from the look and sound of things, from Omaha, it doesn't look as rosy.

Yes I was in the stands on Friday and I was scared to death. I am not being sarcastic. I honestly didn't think we would lose until about the 2 minute mark, I was pissed enough that we let you back under 10 but when it started to get down to within 5 yes, I was extremely scared. I know everyone in our stands were scared. And I know Altman was scared as well. No denying any of that at all, I guess what I am trying to say is that I don't understand why you think everyone associated with CU is all of a sudden so scared of what WSU is going to become? I mean I speak for only one of us when I say that I honestly hope WSU becomes consistently good again. I have said that from the start. The most important teams for this conference are CU, WSU, SIU, and BU. That is my opinion. I would love for these 4 teams to compete hard against each other every single year. Over the past 10 years, CU and SIU have done their part. A few years ago when it seemed like the entire top half of our conference was worthy of a bid, that was BY FAR the most fun I have had following the conference. So I don't think we are scared of you guys becoming good, I mean we are most likely going to be good either way, it will just add another team we will have to compete against for an MVC title year in, year out. Not trying to be sCUm as you like to call us, just my honest opinion. The more good teams and programs there are in the conference, the more it helps all of us out.

One more side note, I don't think this year's team was even close to being one of the best we have had. Not even close. And we shared the MVC title. It honestly wasn't as exciting as some of the years past when we have maybe finished top 3 but not won. The conference was so down this year, it is pretty difficult to brag about finishing as Co-conference champs. Some of the Creighton teams in the past would have won this year's title by 2-3 games.
