Hopefully only ISU gets in and makes a little run in the tourney showing that the MVC deserved more.

Not an Altman fan and certainly not a CU fan, but it seems to me that any MVC coach who has made it to the NCAA tournament 5 out of what, 16 times (almost a third of the time) has a little something going for him.

Otherwise, them grapes must be tasting mighty sour.

If they do make it, at least that's one easy pick in the bracket.

CU, ISU, NIowa, it does not matter who gets them, we need 2 bids this year. If we only get 1, thats 2 years straight with 1 bid = not good for MVC.

Does CU do the valley any good by getting into the tournament and then going one and done? I don't think so. It's to the point that it is expected. They would continue maintaining the low ceiling of achievement for the MVC.

IlSU has the best chance of making a little run in the NCAA. Go Redbirds.

I guess UNI winning helps in the case to keep CU out.

I am not sure if creighton will be one and done in the NCAA or one and done in the NIT. But I do predect that by the end of next year Marshall will have more NCAA tourney wins over the 3 years he has been at WSU then Atlman.

What I see is that his team was favored just once but has won two games.

Success in the NCAA tournament is part skill, part timing and part luck. Just get there and see what you can do. I loved our Sweet 16 year, but I would sure love to have the opportunity year after year, even if we don't make it that far.

I think Altman would trade in several of those 0-1 performances for one Sweet Sixteen. He can't get it done. CU has been to the NCAA so many times because of their MVC tourney performance. He has better than average teams that he gets to perform well for a weekend. He flops in the dance and does the MVC no favors.
