I'd put Illinois State in before sCUm. Seriously.

Not an Altman fan and certainly not a CU fan, but it seems to me that any MVC coach who has made it to the NCAA tournament 5 out of what, 16 times (almost a third of the time) has a little something going for him.
Otherwise, them grapes must be tasting mighty sour.

Does CU do the valley any good by getting into the tournament and then going one and done? I don't think so. It's to the point that it is expected. They would continue maintaining the low ceiling of achievement for the MVC.
IlSU has the best chance of making a little run in the NCAA. Go Redbirds.

Success in the NCAA tournament is part skill, part timing and part luck. Just get there and see what you can do. I loved our Sweet 16 year, but I would sure love to have the opportunity year after year, even if we don't make it that far.

I think Altman would trade in several of those 0-1 performances for one Sweet Sixteen. He can't get it done. CU has been to the NCAA so many times because of their MVC tourney performance. He has better than average teams that he gets to perform well for a weekend. He flops in the dance and does the MVC no favors.
