Well you guys that would watch a Thursday night MVC basketball game still can ... here is a link to MVC Women's Basketball games tonight. Looks like Illinois State is at Drake!

And for those of you saying that there would be no draw for the Thursday night games ... you are probably right .. the two games you CAN watch tonight will draw a MUCH bigger audience.

Well, I'm stuck at work tonight with the radio, but tomorrow night, if/when they finish off MSU, I might play hooky to watch, although I'd have to leave mid-shift because it looks like the 2nd round game's at 6:05p.

If you want all the games televised, the MVC might consider a different tournament format. The Horizon has the 1st and 2nd place teams getting byes the first two rounds. All the other 8 teams play in the first round, the winners play in the second round, these winners play the top two teams. I'm not saying I like this format better, but all the games are more likely to be on TV.

The problem with 1 and 2 getting byes is it really favors them (especially if they get TWO byes, holy cow).

It sets up for a dynasty which no one likes unless it is WSU Baseball :)

All of this won't matter after tonight. We won't be in the play in game anymore.....
