Saturday will be important no doubt Doc, but next week's midweek games will be just as important.

We MUST defend the home court against Indiana State.

And it would also help out immensely if Drake beat SIU at home. Those are two biggies that, if looked past, won't mean crap for Saturday.

Boy, what a mess.

Games between the 5 mid-tier teams in the league just seem to be pick-em's and each seems to be able to step up every now and then for an upset. Our games vs. InSt and SIU aren't gimmes.

UNI really isn't very good. 3 of their 4 losses are at home including Drake and InSt. Man, ShockerNet would be in meltdown if we couldn't defend the home court while sitting in 1st place. They could lose their last 2, but clearly the Shocks need them to beat EU.

Better strap in, the final week is going to be a wild ride.

Your first part is correct. The second part you are forgetting about EU, either that or assuming they win AT NIU on senior night and at home vs. Bradley.

If EU wins at home vs BU midweek, then it would be WSU, DU, EU for 5,6,7 all tied going into Saturday. All are road teams. If all three win or all three lose then EU would be 5th, WSU 6th, DU 7th based on the mini pool. If we lose, then we need one of the other two to lose, then it would go to tiebreaker points for 6th/7th which we should beat both teams based on us beating the top teams at home.

Tuesday win over Trees puts us in a good position, if Drake beats SIU.
