Here's the deal:


MSU is 10th.

ISU and SIU are tied for 8th.

WSU, Evansville and Drake are tied for 5,6 and 7.


BU Evansville is HUGE. Drake v SIU is even HUGER.


ISU @ WSU is HUGEST.


A 4 way tie for 4, 5, 6 & 7 is ENTIRELY possible at this point.


Aces have every chance to finish 9-9. At home and then UNI is in a tailspin.......probably in a suicide watch after ISU gets them next Tuesday.

The Geese have SIU then at Bradley. I don't have a frickin clue.

Only if we play punishing pressure defense, force turnovers, run the ball, score in transition and dig deep into our opponent's benches.

I'd like to see Mantas and Ramon tear it up these last couple of games to put the young guys over the top for something pretty special to close out the year. A Friday night start in St. Louis and maybe even a real post season.

Bradley will NOT lose their last two. Most likely a 3-way tie for 5th-7th among WSU, Evansville, and Drake at 8-10, in which case the Shocks' wins over the top teams will help them out, as I believe Drake was swept by IlSt.

In that event, I'm guessing -- and I don't have time to figure it out for sure -- WSU 5th, Drake 6th, UE 7th.

nope it goes into a mini pool, between the 3 teams tied, so Evansville gets teh 5 seed, we get the 6 seed, and drake gets the 7 seed

How about a five way tie for 5th place after the next round of games? What a nightmare that would be...EU, DU, WSU, SIU and ISU.

Chaos insues.....

We need a win Tuesday with an SIU loss and Evansville loss.

Leaves us tied with Drake a game ahead of EU and two ahead of SIU and Indiana State.

Then if we lose at SIU and EU wins we have the tie breaker I believe stay out of the playin game and likely face Illinois State again.

I think that's right. Win two and it's all good. Lose two and ???
