Well, i dont think it will be as bad a beat as what KU administered to us in the early 90's. seems like we lost by 30 or so.

Somewhere in the 15-20 point range.

guys better play with pride and intensity or they can start looking for continuing their college days somewhere else.

I'm going against the status quo and say we pull off a shocker.

I don't care if we lose by 20 but I want to see us score at least 70. That can happen if they are allowed to run and have fun.

It's time to put down the whip and the manual and just let the boys have some fun.

This Saturday I don't want to see a defensive battle, I want to see some players who know how to run, run. I want to see smiles, high-fives, and some pretty dunks.

I don't care if we play 'Ole defense as long as we run back smiling.

This team needs to take some baby steps to get right again. It starts with having fun and doing what is most fun in basketball, shooting the ball.

Phone Diana up and tell her she will have an easy 80-90 points Saturday, but we are gonna shoot the hell outta the ball and run, run, run...

Having fun is good, but having fun is also playing hard. If you are playing hard, you will NOT play ole' defense.

Players at any level should understand that playing hard and giving 110 percent are GREAT FUN. If they don't understand that...step aside.

I predict that I'll go to Larry Bud's beforehand and perhaps have one or two "too many".

I'll then get to the game right at tip-off, and subsequently yell at the opposing team, the opposing fans, and probably the officials just because I don't want them to feel like they're out there, alone, on an island of seclusion.

At one point in the night, I'll probably wish I was still at Larry Buds. The whole game has been a drag. But then I'll convince myself I'm having so much fun that I'm whistling Zippity Do Da out of my a-hole.

By the end of the night, taking stock of my love affair with the Shocks, I'll be wondering why I care so much. So much give, give, give.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

CU hits a last second 3 point shot to end the first half with a 39-28 lead. WSU comes out flat in the second half as CU builds the lead to as much as 19 points before WSU starts showing signs of life and makes the score look a little more respectable by the final buzzer!
That seems to follow a pattern of recent games

We just need to re-establish our confidence, play a hard nosed game of BB, and let the cow chips fall as they may.

I didn't even want to think about this game, much less make a prediction. But I broke.

The guys finally start to look more like cornered dogs than whipped puppies. Game is competitive but we falter late, eventually losing by 8-10.

                        Best guess, CU - 70, WSU - 61

In looking at Hannah's recent games, he's on track for a good one. Murry has his usual solid game. Hawkins plays better. Durley looks decent.

Besides the usual keys (limiting turnovers and fouls), if we can get their post players in foul trouble, I'll feel better about the prospects for an upset. With Millard out (6'8", 12 min. per game), they only have two true post players (Lawson, Walker at 6'9"). After that it's Carter (6'4") and Harriman (6'5").

CU has 7 games where they have scored in the 80's. Add to that 5 more in the 70's and it's getting painful to look at. The Shox did keep them under 70 at their place though.

                          Hmm.

                          Shox - 65
                          CU - 75

                          Please let me be wrong!!

I don't have a ticket but thinking about driving up is it sold out or could I get a ticket at the door?
First a Baseball fan then a Volleyball fan and then I guess I follow the basketball team.
