I booked the Casino Queen for $80 per night. It is across the river from the Arch. Great hotel, cheap drinks in the casino and good eats. Free parking with valet service. I've stayed at this hotel this last 4 years. 1st class service in the hotel.

I've stayed at the Sheraton in the past and it is nice plus ultra convenient just across the street from the arena.

Another advantage is the Metro Link station, which is located at the casino.

No charge for parking too.

Yes and they are all stained to hell. I have stayed at the Sheraton the last 3-4 years and am not returning this year because as spacious as the rooms are the furniture is really disgusting at this point. Seriously you need to put towels down to sit on anything its that bad. They need to get new furniture or have it reupholstered. I have stayed in a fair share of gross places and roach motels and never seen furniture in a room literally that disgusting.

I stayed there about 6 years ago and the condition of the furnishings and room cleanliness was excellent.

Hotels should refurbish about every 5 years or so. So maybe, management has been negligent in this regard.

Your absolutely right. 3-4 years ago it was great. Last year was really gross. I'll be staying at the Hyatt this year. I may give it a go next year but I'll probably ask when they last refurbished the furniture first.
