Matt Perrault Bagging on Marshall - calls him a Jackass

He is just trying to get some interest going between CU and WSU and his supposed feud with HCGM. It's good for him and his ratings. The more divisive he can be the better his ratings. I think it's kind of funny and entertaining.
Besides, I have no issues with Altman running a backdoor play or lob dunk play with 50 seconds nor do I have a problem with HCGM bringing it up to get a little fight in his players . The Shocks need to take the gloves off a little bit anyway. Perhaps HCGM is trying to put a chip on their shoulders. Nothing wrong with that! I'm sure Altman understands that as well.

I attended the game. The Qwest is nice although it is a little quiet. Perhaps poor acoustics, or the refs kept any flow from developing?!? The Creighton fans were extremely nice.
I've gotta write that I simply don't understand why a few Shocker fans call CU elitist or arrogant. CU is a nice school and I'm sure they don't accept every student that applies. However, there are better schools and there are worse schools. Big deal. Don't compliment the few CU fans that might look at themselves as pure intellectuals by calling them elitist or arrogant. IF (a big if) they look at themselves in that manner, you are only complimenting them and feeding their ego. I found them to be quite nice and complimentary of the Shockers, the fans, and the athletic department in general.

na i think good ol Matty P. is stirring up the pot, he is the only one that brought it up and he is making way too much of a big deal out of it. I dont think the Wichita media even brought it up.

WSU fans have never liked CU. That hasn't gotten better or worse. We didn't like CU when we regularly beat the hell out of the BJs and now that it is reversed, we still don't like them. We hardly need a 2 bit radio hack from the mighty small CU campus to rile us up.

When the Husker fans return to focusing on N instead of bandwagonning the Jays (we all KNOW it will happen) then CU can return to playing in their volleyball gym and all will be right in the world. The bishop can go back to whining on the bench and the light blue jays will return to their rightful place, mediocracyville.

Why was his blog even posted on here...what a tool. He's getting just what he wants, exposure. And he'll continue to blog about the Shocks so we'll read his garbage. Look at his picture...TOOL! He'll say anything to make the Creighton fans feel all warm and fuzzy inside and be satisfied with mediocrity. (Is he on Creighton's payroll?) If he truly believes half the stuff he's saying, he is one of the most uninformed, fact manipulating media personalities since Rush Limbaugh. I think our success on the national level speaks for itself. Creighton can only wish to match our accomplishments someday. Let me know when they've reached the Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final 4...win a national title in any sport, sure, they can include Soccer. WSU has reached the NCAA tourney in pretty much every sport recently except Women's Basketball. Has Creighton's Basketball program ever in their history been ranked higher than our #8 ranking a couple years ago? If so, I guess we can go back a few more years to our #1 ranking...but I'm guessing the best they've ever done was 12th(?) when they came into the Coliseum and we sent them home with a loss. Keep spoon feeding the fans Matt. And when you get a chance head over to this site, I know you'll like it.

I caught just a part of HCGM comments to MK after the show in regards (credit goes to Steve Shogren) to the alley oop pass. All he said was it was something that the Shocks would take and put away for some time in the future. I think he was saying that they would remember that instance and stick it up their (CU) _______(fill in the blank) in the not too distant future.

As Doc already eloquently put it, it was a non-issue until a bored am radio jockey had nothing better to do in his little ol' town than to infiltrate team/conference message boards and subsequently made a Pearl Harbor over it. It's his selfish way to give his garbage talk ratings. I honestly never knew a 'professional' would go that far or that low to make a few bucks..

He's a geek who gets all big and tough behind a radio microphone. I envy his stature.
