Just kind of ironic when someone started a thread comparing Marshall to Smithson, ShockerFever belittled the guy for starting a moronic thread. But when you look at the ingame posts, he makes that guy sound like little bo peep in his criticisms. Logic please?

Marshall is no Smithson. Marshall's offensive is certainly nothing like Smithson's.

I'm 1500 miles away so 'in-person' is out. I've never done the 'call-in' thing before. Are they streamed online? Otherwise, that could be a problem too.

I can't even drink a glass of milk without something escalating. Jeesh! First, please do not threaten anyone, especially someone you know absolutely nothing about. I believe Denny's been around the world and back again and could hold his own but regardless both of you should refrain from tempting the other for the remainder of the evening. We are all wanting success overnight and get testy when success is not achieved overnight. Patience! "The ox is slow but the earth is patient"...

The blame is now with Marshall. Marshall is now getting exposed for his coaching defencies. I see no offennse and team that is board line Juco. Juco I mean four guys standing and one guy pentrating. This might have worked at Winthrop but not here.

I think this is some misplaced criticism. WSU does look like a JuCo team. A team that has only first or second-year players.

That's all WSU has - first or second-year players. And a lot of those are JuCo players. There is not a single 3rd or 4th-year player on the team. The only players who would have been 3rd or 4th year players, had they stayed, would have been Preadom and Mekel.

WSU has the equivalent of absolutely no recruiting for 2 years.

Please show me any coach or any team that can succeed when there is not a single 3-year or 4-year player in the system.

Our previous coach swore he would never go through another rebuilding project. When he created one, he was true to his word. He wasn't going to go through that. He left his mess to someone else.

Some fans are throwing the wrong people under the bus. Some of Marshall's last-minute emergency recruiting efforts aren't working out as well as we hoped.

When Marshall got here he had 3 Srs and Preadom, Mekel, Butler, and Durley. So, what are you expecting after the 3 Srs graduate?
