Does anyone actually remember a time when alcohol was served @ CKA...or HLA?
Yes 1970's 8)
Needed beer at Levitt during the decade of the 90's. It would have helped endure that period!
:posterwu:
They had beer at the CAC, HL, threw keg parties on campus and in the dorms. I still have the cups from the football and basketball games. Then it was off to the Pub! :posterwsu: 8)
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
I'm pretty sure it's a state law that prohibits alcoholic beverages on state property and not an NCAA rule. Colorado used to sell beer at games and stopped because of too many drunken fans.

How sure are you ... beer is sold at WSU baseball games.
Basketball Season Tix since '77-78 . . . . . . Baseball Season Tix since '88

Nope, not at Levitt, at least after 1977. The cups were soda cups.

Yep, I started with season tix in '77. If there was beer there, my dad would have had some. I also would have had to drive home, which at 12 yrs old would have been a feat!

You can apply for an exception from the state. For example at BSFS they can serve beer in the suites and in the Legends Room in Bramlage - both have been exempted. I imagine WSU has an exception for the baseball stadium.
The Champions club at koch arena has a full bar. Surely you don't think the high rollers can't get alcohol if they want it. We used to put 1/2 pint bottles in our cowboy boots to mix with the soft drinks both for football and basketball. Some of you might even remember when we did play football at WSU. :)

The fact that this topic is on its second page tells me two things.
1. Shoxilla has touched on an interesting subject of import to the Shocker community.
2. Y'all are some thirsty mo-fos!
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'”
