Shox-TCU game thread

I thought they would be 3-5 heading home, so they're right on track. Now they just need to win their home games.

For the 24 out of the 25 posters who predicted a Shox win over TCU, I have one thing to say. Quit smokin' crack! And please move out from under that rock your hiding under. It's time to start realizing what this program is, an 11 win team this year. Take off those yellow colored glasses! You are ruining the prediction threads!

So that's where you were tonight? Counting the predictions on the prediction thread.

But I agree. While we've fared decent in the good teams we've played, we're still an inconsistent and shaky basketball team - with no offense at all - that will still be in the play-in round this year. It's expected. So no meltdown from me. I wish some of the guys just stepped back and saw this too. It would make their blood pressure less high for the year.

Disappointing particularly in the rebounding department.

Gardner-Webb won't be any easier. The Shox have their work cut out for them getting past this one and moving on to prepare for Friday.

Let's hope Friday gives us all a more positive end to the week than the start of the week was.

But I agree. I won't argue, we are playing poorly. But really with the Valley this year it's about who sucks LESS....so who knows we could still be a 6th place Valley team and avoid the play-in round. That's about all I'm hoping for, but won't be surprised with just about anything this year.

If we don't beat a 2 and 5 Gardner Webb team, I will throw myself off my roof. One of their wins was against a non-D1 team mind you and their other win is against powerhouse Radford.

I agree with the part about the Valley being down. I just don't see us winning many, if any, road games this year. Add that to the 5-7 we could legitimately win at home, and we're 6-12 and playing on Thursday again. It's early though, so I won't wipe out the 'anything is possible' stuff yet.
