Yes, and 2nd in the Valley. Thats one reason it was obvious we would be someplace in their top 144. Our stock dropped a bit, but I think we will do better than they are now predicting. I'll pick us for 2nd and hope for 1st. That is not unrealistic at all. We have renewed hope for Orkupe to be here in time for the whole year. He will probably be the best 7 footer in the league. MG is the real deal. Clemente is a great addition. And don't forget, Marshall is coaching. I have no doubt that we will be good.In the fast laneComment

Trop: I think you are onto something. However I think it will take time and November through January may be tough on Shocker fans. I would really like to see the Shocks hitting on all cylinders in March and winning the MVC MBB tourney.
ADDED: You have to love SIU fans and their "objectivity."
