I know ECU is a Div II team, but I don't care how BAD their defense was. For a team to score 167 points in 40 minutes of play takes some shooting. I am sure (?) our defense is better, but with that kind of shooting, is it going to be good enough to keep us close. AND if our offense doesn't improve from last game, it won't make any difference how good our defense is -- you still have to put points up on the board.

Tech had 10 players in double figures. Wow.

Tech had scored 81 and 87 in their two previous games...so they can obviously score.

For 282 points to be scored in 40 minutes of basketball there had to be 7 points scored per minute. That is 3 shots per minute. Assuming WSU can control the ball, rebound and play some defense there is no way that TT could score over 100 points and likely will not score more than 80 and hopefully in the 60's or less.

I agree Tech will not score THAT many, however, I would like to see us stay with them (and hopefully pass them and WIN). That is going to take both offense and defense. Let's hope we have both by the time this game rolls around. This will be the first game after probably getting our butts kicked in Orlando, and I really don't want this team to get down on themselves. This is a tough road schedule coming up after this Monday and I am sure Marshall and Company will do everything in their power so these young men don't get down. Is winning the primary focus here? I would be lying if I said I didnt' care how many games we win, but if we do have to lose some games, I think all of us would really like to be able to say we see improvement from game to game.
