We got an open look from one of our better shooting guards. This is not the NBA, and the execution from the team was as good as you could expect. Reggie got a screen and a relatively open 3 from the wing. Given the circumstances, I'd say it was about perfect, except it didn't go in.

Dr. - I respectfully disagree. I was surprised to see that no subs came in between UMKC's two free throws. Given that their shooter is great at the line, we really needed more options for the 3. If I remember correctly on who was in at the time, Hawk hasn't shown he's a 3pt threat and Ramon definitely isn't. J.T., Clevin, and Graham were on the bench. Secondly, with the players we did have in, Stutz planted himself four feet inside the 3pt line with no one close to him, just opposite of where Reggie was on the court. Had he been outside the 3, he just might have had a better shot and been are best bet.

I understand where you are coming from ST but I promise you, barring a natural disaster, Clevin and JT were DONE for the night.
Maybe inserting GH is a point for topic, but these guys don't have everything down yet and I feel confident that we executed with the 5 on the floor about as good as it was going to get under the circumstances.
But I hear you.

My seats are directly behind where the final 3pt shot was taken, my head about level with the players'. We could of called a time-out to try and set up a play, but I doubt it would of given us a more open look than the one we had. We just missed. Plain and simple. The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

The path of Reggie's shot lead me to believe that a defender got a finger tip on the ball. Do you think it is possible?
