I've always liked Andy Katz, but his short-sightedness in lieu of what our program has gone through the past couple seasons is a little second rate.

Yeah, Katz and Turgeon are buddies so the fall of WSU can't be because Turgeon left the cupboard bare. According to him, it has to be because of Marshall. This is mainly due to the "pedigree" difference between the two coaches. As we all know, Turgeon came from a basketball powerhouse and comes from a great coaching lineage while Marshall is the exact opposite and has basically done everything on his own. I have a feeling Gregg will get the last laugh on this and I can't wait to be there to enjoy the ride.

Guys, it's all fine. What our program needed was a little attitude. We're doing things the right way, except now the gun isn't empty.

A little underdog role is just fine by me. Whether it happens this year or next, we'll let everyone know exactly where our program stands and we'll be just fine.

I love how Katz acts like the University of South Carolina is a basketball powerhouse.. Probably one of the worst BCS jobs in America, right on par with South Florida.

Unlike Katz's thinking the Shockers actually took the big fall under MT's watch going 8-14 in his last 22 games at WSU. For whatever reasons a pretty good team fell apart under Mark's leadership. Some of this was due to injury but coach Marshall had more than his share of that last year. And of course Marshall had the disadvantage of having a very short recruiting season.

WSU got tremendous PR from Andy Katz when we were winning, so I'm not going to bad mouth him too much.

And maybe he did and maybe he didn't, and only his hair dresser knows, but if GM didn't sometime during the entrail pulling trials of last season, secretly question whether he made the right move, he wouldn't be human.

Now with his new bunch of recruits, the cupboard is no longer bare and the future looks bright for both GM and the Shocks.

When we start winning again, we can use Andy Katz PRing our program once again.

I think the Katz PR had more to do with Turgeon. Not to say he won't jump back on the bandwagon in the near future, but I doubt he'll be as supportive as he was.
