Ronaldinho has transferred from FC Barcelona to AC Milan. Terms of the deal were not announced, but Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Milan paid $30 million for Ronaldinho, and will pay him $10.4 million per season. Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:

I'm not sure of the meaning of this post:
Speaking of Carter, he needs to grow about 2 or 3 inches between now and October. So thin in the post, it's scary.
The previous post was:
from what we've seen at summer league, and yes that is a horrible example to use, but Whitehead look like a very good back-up player to Millard AT BEST. He would easily be down the bench far behind players like Woodfox, Walker, and Harriman for sure. Thats not taking Carter into account either.
His loss, while it is disappointing, is hardly one we should lose sleep over for the upcoming season. It just makes Walker all the more important
I don't think Altman would use 6'4" Carter as center but even as a forward, a 6'4" player needs to be really good (like PJ) in order to be successful as a 3 or 4. The height that Creighton has (unless they sign another player) in decreasing order is
Kenny Lawson Jr. 6-9, 225
Kenton Walker 6-8, 220
Chad Millard 6-8, 220
Casey Harriman 6-5, 205
Justin Carter, 6'4", 200
Kaleb Korver, 6'4", 180
Just for fun, here is a list of WSU's height in decreasing order (assuming EO qualifies and with an estimate of actual height):
Garrett Stutz, 7'0" or 7'1", 250 (?)
Ehimen Orukpe 7'0", 220
Aaron Ellis, 6'9", 200
J.T. Durley, 6'7", 237
Mantas Griskenas 6'7", 210
Ramon Clemente, 6'6", 221
A.J. Hawkins, 6'5", 200
Graham Hatch 6'4", 206
Let's look at the sixth man on each list. Just imagine Kaleb Korver guarding Ramon Clemente. :D
Here is a later post:
I don't want to start a holy war on this, but lets just take a step back. First, the rate of attrition at our program has to be one of the highest in the country. We seemingly lose guys left and right year after year. This leads me to believe that something needs to happen: either a) our coaches need to improve their recruiting i.e. be a better judge of talent and character or b) as Shane says, there needs to be a little give and take. These are 18-22 year old kids, not dogs you are trying to train. In all honesty, I don't think many here even understood why this guy was recruited in the first place!
ADDED: I decided to add a few more posts.:
God, I hope and pray that there is no truth to the rumor that Carter might not be coming.
Does anyone know the latest on JC? I know it's only July and he was supposed to come in by July, but this has me concerned as well.
As for the rumor about Carter not coming,
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with this girl who saw Stinnett, Jones, Young, Dotzler, Millard, Lawson, Walker, Korver, Witter, and Woodfox pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious. Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:

I'm just in a good mood. I hope CU, SIU, Drake, etc. have great season and finish behind WSU. I think (most) WSU fans don't take themselves as seriously as fans of certain other Valley schools; we just enjoy life and are thankful for the successes that come our way. Here are some GC jokes.
If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted?
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."
Well, if crime fighters fight crime and fire fighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight? They never mention that part to us, do they?
Weather forecast for tonight: dark. Continued dark overnight, with widely scattered light by morning.
I thought about how mothers feed their babies with tiny little spoons and forks so I wondered, what do Chinese mothers use? Toothpicks?
"I am" is reportedly the shortest sentence in the English language. Could it be that "I do" is the longest sentence?
Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice?"
If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.
ADDED: I hope (& believe) Eric Sexton also thinks highly of WSU fans. http://www.kansas.com/250/story/448535.htmlSome posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:

Geez, 47 points in one game, 55% shooting and 41% from 3. Pursued by Kansas at one point. Looks like Dana found another JUCO from out of no where, kind of like Witter was our least heralded recruit b/c most people hadn't heard of him. Pretty good deal that he'll get to be around the team for the second part of this year and still have 3 to play. Nice work by the coaches.
How can you not be excited Oldfan? Sounds like we made up for our near miss of Coy.
Interesting! Now many CU fans say he was lazy and think Dana has a better big man in the wings. (The radio guy on the podcast link in the thread http://thebluejaycafe.com/BB/viewtopic.php?t=10810 is very interested in this question.) Many CU fans are not cutting Whitehead any slack. It will be interesting to see how well Whitehead does in 2009-10 if he returns to a D1 school after a year at D2 Dixie State. (His dad apparently is a professor at Dixie State; I imagine that he is a pretty good student and is not "Kevin Ross.")Some posts are not visible to me. :peaceful:
