Please do not omit any activity. Please include the activities of all, who have participated in his recruitment and enrollment in Wichita State University.

As an example, include the activities of Rep. Tiahrt, Sunrise Christian Academy, Coach Gross, etc.

    Thanks.

I was admitted as a "guest student" for summer session courses the summer between by sophmore and junior years of high school. I had already completed the ACT, was not an international student (unless you count being born & bred South od South High as foreign  ), and was never more than a KCAC caliber athlete. This was all 1986-ish. An apples to oranges comparison but I did want to say Dan's statement about high schoolers being admitted is correct, at least 22 years ago

I hope all is right in the House of Marshall.

For international admissions the requirements are different:

Therefore you can enroll and take classes without an ACT or SAT if you have a transcript that is equivalent to high school.

I don't know for sure but the ACT/SAT may be an athletic requirement, as it is not for admissions

There's also the possibility that Orukpe took the tests in June, passed them, but there isn't word from the NCAA yet, so no one is mentioning anything until the clearinghouse okays him.

For those of you who are concerned, EO is enrolled at WSU right now. However it is yet to be seen if he will be cleared by the NCAA in time for this basketball season. Worst case scenario, he redshirts, gets bigger and gains experience practicing with the team.

The fact that he is enrolled, and passed the SAT, says that all the NCAA clearinghouse has to do is 'rubber stamp' him to play. In other words, they just have to do the paperwork on him.

I hear from a very good sorce that The Clearing House checks these Nigrian B-Ball Players very close, because there is so much corruption in that country.

The NCAA Clearinghouse isn't always quite that simple.

They must also have the scores from his exit exam, which in EO's case have not been released yet.

Actually, the worst case scenario is that the clearinghouse declares him ineligible and he goes to a JUCO.

Especially not the international clearing house.

I thought long and hard about making an IHOP reference, but decided against it. Now I wish I had, since apparently there is at least one other person who was thinking along the same lines.
