My, how people can turn so fast. Not surprising here though.
Usually when he says something sarcastic, he ironically makes it so obvious.. usually with a haha, or lol, or hehe, or j/k, etc.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Wasn't there also a question as to whether or not SO would have been eligible last year anyways? I thought I read something somewhere that he was gonna have to sit due to classroom stuff. Maybe that was someone else I was reading about instead.

I remember that speculation at least. There were a lot of rumos flying around Sean that last year, and some popped up even before the season had begun. Some may be true, others not. But I'm sure the truth has at least been hit upon in the past and not something we need to bring up here. Needless to say, but I will anyway, I think we can all agree that there were some issues with Sean and around Sean that made his departure the best thing for both him and our fine University.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan
RIP Guy Always A Shocker
Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.
Save Shocker Sports - A rallying cry

I agree with Sub. I also doubt that we will ever know the full story, but it was best for Sean and the program that he play elsewhere. Sean was an important part of the Sweet 16 team to be sure. Disruptions in his personal life seemed to have negative effects on his on court performance. When Mark left he bolted, I don't blame him for this.
I don't think it is fair for him to say that he never got any love from HCGM or the staff. His game was going south when he left and defense was never his strong suit while here and that is something that HCGM demands. He was very "soft" o defense his last year here.
I'm happy that he has found a place where he can be happy. Disappointed that he has to dis us for problems that were largely due to poor decision making skills on his part.

As I recall the timing, the trfr to Wyoming was announced and considered a done deal BEFORE Turgeon announced he was leaving.
By the time Marshall was hired, Ogirri's trfr was cast in concrete. Why would Marshall show him any love?
Plus, if Ogirri's trfr was tied in any way to Turgeon leaving, how did Ogirri happen to have a school lined up about the same time UK hired Gillespie?
I don't blame Ogirri for saying what he's saying. That's probably best for everyone right now, even if the timing doesn't work and it's possibly a work of fiction.
Seans' brother came on here once and told a very credible reason why SO left WSU and it had nothing to do with the rumors that have been mentioned in this thread. That explanation was that SO had inadvertently picked up a group of followers that he he didn't want to hang with and that he couldn't get rid of. Those followers apparently believed strongly in the 2nd amendment, but probably saw no reason to have a conceal/carry permit or any type of education about gun safety.
I wish SO a successful year at Wyoming - even if it means we'll have uninformed posters all over SN complaining about Marshall running him off.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

If all will recall, Sean's production fell out dramatically in his junior year. The opponents put a man in his jock and left him there.
Since Sean did not have the ability to counter with a drive to the basket, all he could do was pass the ball.
Sean was very one dimensional on offense and the opponents figgered it out.
Sean was a pure shooter, but he could not shoot extra well with a hand in his face.

Thanks for the corrections to my faulty memory. I remember the timing in reverse order of how it happened. Maybe in my own mind I concluded Ogirri would be leaving before Turgeon announced he was leaving.
I still believe it was the best thing for SO to do. SO needed aa change of environment. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
