I wonder if we will see Landry playing the 2 occasionally this year with Samajae at the point. I think that could happen with the way Samajae has looked so far.

Without a doubt you'll see Landry and Samajae on the floor at the same time. Probably each will have the lead at certain times. I see a 4 guard rotation similar to last year only better. Landry and Conner have established their primary roles, Austin is a year older and, hopefully, healthier, and, with all due respect to Daishon, Samajae is a better ball handler and seems less likely to fade under brighter lights.

Yeah I think Shamet can play the 2 pretty well. Frankamp is not a true 1 guard, as he excels off-ball, like a Klay Thompson. SHJ can be an electric spark late in the game, but he worth putting in to move Shamet out of his everyday position, and put Frankamp, our secret weapon on the bench?

Even with Landry recovering, it is very comforting to know we have numerous options at the 1 and 2 positions. We just need to stay healthy, happy, hardy, and hungry.

Coach loves to play 2 PGs as we all know. They will all play the one and two at various times this season.

Having SHJ on the court as a part of any guard combo is a good idea (1A).

Possibly all 3 in the game at the same time on occasion.

I've been told by an AD from a local HS who has ties to the program that GM has thought about running SHJ at the 1, CF at the 2, and LS at the 3.

Would Malone be the 4 and Bush the 5?

Have not heard how LS' foot held up following Monday's game. If he is nearly 100% I'd still start
Jones Friday night and limit Shamets time. As long as LS is 95-100% he is my starting PG
                    starting Monday.

Agreed. We won't necessarily need him to start against UMKC. Charleston, however, is going to be a handful. I'd rather give him more rest before Monday.

Really like Zach at the three and Darrel/Rashard supporting the 3/4.
