I think Sully is a great asset to our community, and has been for a long time; however, his move from the Eagle to the WSU AD is a bit like going from independent media to state-sponsored media. You can be guaranteed that he has a leash and a filter now, where once the information and reporting was unfettered.

I'm surprised. You think it's ok for them to completely ignore the most important sports program in the metro area until they get around to hiring someone???

No KU coverage in KC?
No UNL coverage in Omaha?

I bet their online page counts have got to be down. By the time they figure it out it will be too late. It already is too late. I still have shockwaves on my phone. I used to check it 5 or more times a day....I looked at it once this week. And after reading the latest article by Sully today at Goshockers.com I finally removed the app from my phone. They just lost my 5 or more clicks a day and they're not getting them back.

This is exactly my contention as well. It's problematic to accept the fact that there has to be college educated columnists at the local Eagle, but yet they can't find one who can fill in the gap? I don't buy that. Who's the Eagle sports director? Must be a Chicken fan. They're jealous.
