i think one of brown or kelly will start. which one though? i went with kelly (along with the other four).

IIRC (and there is no assurance that is the case) didn't Rashard start to shine last year as 6th man who was Mr. Instant Energy and Intensity off the bench. I think he liked that role and I think 3G liked him in that role. I think that will continue this year.

I think there were two key changes to the lineup last season that had significant impact and that was Landry's emergence as the true PG and Rashard being the first off the bench as the "Mr. Instant Energy and Intensity" guy. I don't see any way Marshall changes that early in the upcoming season. And I think that's why most prognosticators are picking us in the top 5.

I'm more interested to know if God Bear will be able to get on the court and take minutes away from one of the other 5s. I don't know that he can but judging by Gregg's comments the other day, the guy is a bit more ready to play than the staff first thought.

I have heard some scuttlebutt that Rauno has been discussed as a redshirt candidate because of "Mitt", and the depth at the 5. I don't know how serious that is but I know that he has a girl friend and his weekends are too short.

Can't imagine a scenario where a guy that gave good minutes last year is going to redshirt, before his senior year, so we can have only two legitimate five men playing the season, with one being a first year player, in a year where there potentially two NBA players on the team.

gregg marshall is going to turn him loose this year. smu/jankovich is going to get it, but good. swept away.

that leaves cinci, uconn, ucf, temple and houston. that's going to be a roundhouse roundrobin. old big east style.. and i really believe that.
