I was referring to Shock and Fever as recent departees; they left because of difficulties with the mini-troll. I hope they both return Shock was never problematic for me, while Fever's passion for the Shockers could be troublesome for a few posters on Shockernet.

IMO their contributions to this board far outweigh anything mini-troll has contributed (or ever will for that matter).

I didn't realize this thread was going when I made my other post in the other thread about inviting people back. I'd love to see a fresh start. We are about to join the AAC. Who knows what it will be like going forward. We need all hands on deck :)

There's a Shocker Faithful Facebook group that has some posters who get info before it appears here. It's not terribly active, but Sara Orr James does a good job of keeping fans there informed.

She's great, but I had to leave that group. Lots of stupid over there.

I can see that my longevity here at SN is soon to run its course. With KW holding one of the keys to this network my time here is short. We have a history which when viewed from afar would have seemed to be one of mutual respect but I know he was always jealous of my wit and may I say wisdom. He used to bribe me with licorice at the games but more recently he has chosen to ignore my requests for a long ignored golf outing. So dear readers I may not be long for this venue but rest assured if I get the boot I may start my own Shocker Web site and just call it Pogo's. Or maybe a bar with my wife.....Morgan Fairchild, yeah thats the ticket.

Please don't confuse administration with ownership. @Kung Wu: is the cheese and I dare not move it. He is the power and brains behind the board. I was merely the emergency response to prevent the board from slipping into disarray until things got shored up permanently. Now Kung is King.

Going way, way back, I wonder whatever happened to the Preacher Pork Chop? He got banned here, soon after I joined, and he posted on another Forum for a spell. He may have had other names he went by as well.

PPC goes back to the 2nd home of SN. So long ago I don't even remember the site or system. Anyway, he and I certainly had our difference due to his volatile, provocative posting style. Warnings, bans, new accounts, new warnings, bans . . .

He had moved over to the Valley board under one of his later screen names, toned down the rhetoric and was pretty decent. He later contacted me to graciously say he went way over the line back during the PPC drama days. I had hoped he might return but unless he's incognito, I haven't seen him.
