Im loving you guy's answers so far, but in regards to the question about who the next flagship in the mvc may be, i dont see why anyone hasnt mentioned Loyola yet, they have the money and are starting to get the recruits all they need now is maybe a better coach.

My UNI answer is squarely pegged to Ben Jacobson and his track record. When he goes, I doubt UNI will have the resources to hire someone of his caliber. He's not 3G-caliber but I think he does a good job of recruiting and definitely knows how to coach. Maybe Loyola eventually gets there, I don't know. I'm just so happy I no longer have to worry about the Valley.

Still in the MVC. Still the flagship, but barely.

2. If you had to choose between the final four run and the move to the AAC which would you choose?
Right now, Final Four. Without it, No AAC. And so far, no AAC play to compare it to.

3. How do you think Mike Kennedy really feels about the AAC move?
No insight, but probably excited to call good games between December and March.

4. Who replaces WSU as the premiere flagship in the MVC now that we are gone?
This will be apparent after two more seasons. I would say UNI right now, but they took a mighty fall. If they aren't back on top after 2018-19, it's ISU-Red.

5. If you had to choose who was more important to the team, Fred or Ron, who would you choose? (Impossible to answer i know)
Fred, as WuDrWu stated.

Not many to choose from in recent history. Have to go with Griskenas.

94-59 loss to SIU in 2003.

Consistent top 4-5 AAC team. NCAA in 3 out of 4 years. Elite 8 threat in 1-2 of those.

Purely as a fan: F4. As a season-ticket holder: AAC.

Excited. I wish it had happened 10 years ago. Kennedy is getting a little past his broadcasting prime. All the new info is going to be a lot.

'Premiere flagship?' I think no one, and agree with others that said Bradley is the only one that could ever make it happen.

5. If you had to choose who was more important to the team, Fred or Ron, who would you choose? (Impossible to answer i know)
More important to which team? 2013 Freshman Ron was the difference between losing to Evansville twice and a Final Four. 2016 gimpy Fred was the difference between 2 NCAA wins and 6 NCAA wins. Total careers, I'll lean Fred. But my real choice is a write-in for Tekele Cotton.

I like the Griskenas pick.

7. Worst game you have ever experienced as a fan?
Drake night. Every year.

Tekelicopter. Everything about that day went perfectly.

2014. That team literally went undefeated and I think they are consistently underrated.

Easiest question for me to answer is number six. Fred. Now I certainly wouldn't call him injury prone, but anyone who watched him in the D league finals the other night knows that we didn't even get 65% full strength Fred most of his senior season.

I remember being down in that game and coming back to either take the lead or get it close, and I thought "yeah, there's no way we're losing this." Boy was I wrong. That game sucked.

The saddest part was that they brought out the little cannons that would shoot out streamers and confetti. I was near the front row in the student section and after we took that lead, they brought them out. And then as the clock was winding down and we were gonna lose, they came and took them back off. Ugh.
