  • I would LOVE this bracket. Clemson as our 5. KU and Missouri in Wichita means my tickets would sell for an insane amount.

    • Just a few random thoughts as I'm enjoying a beautiful day at 8500 feet and polishing off a few happy hour margaritas. (Not correcting errors). This should/will be remembered as the greatest year in Shocker history. We made a move that had to to made. We have brought a lot to a good conference and hopefully this mutually beneficial relationship will continue to elevate the AAC. There have been a few disappointing moments but for those who have followed conference realignment over the last decade or so, think we've adjusted better than any team over that time. Remember WVU moving to the Big (pick your number) conference which was a lateral move (diplomatically) but realistically a drop down from the beast in the east and going from being a competitive team who always danced to a .500 team in that adjustment year.

The best is yet to come. Believe we will be a 4 or 5 and like 25 or so teams, if we can dream a little, have a chance to run off 6 in a row. And like those other teams, we could be out after the first weekend. No matter what, it's been a great year, I'm ordering another marg, and contemplating taking tomorrow off. WU SHOCKS!!!,

That'd be awesome to be in the Midwest with the Chickens.

I imagine Bracketville will keep the top spot. That guy is good.

        • Also, Joe Lunardi with ESPN ranked out about 70 out of 187 or top 37.4% of all brackets.

And, Jerry Palm with CBS ranked out about 80 out of 187 or top 42.7% of all brackets.

          • On CBS last night they were singing Palm's praises for only missing one team out of the field. What gives?

Because his seeding sucked. They forgot to mention that part.

Thank you. I was just wondering about MOL and if it were a better indicator of "Team Strength." I'd be interested in seeing that stat for past years and seeds.

If you were to take out the egg we laid @ Houston, we would have an average margin of 3.33. This is kinda a double edge sword of a stat though. We don't get blown out, but unfortunately we lost a decent number of close games. Ultimately this correlates with significant nervous system issues, and subsequent liver damage over time. Non the less, i would rather be at the top of this stat, than the bottom.

                  • What would be really interesting is to put the average end of season RPI next to the MOL. Then you would know if that MOL is against tough opponents on average.

                    • Also interesting that The Flagship is so low on the list -- when they lose, they lose soundly.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."
