He's damn quick. But man is he small.

So...maybe? I feel like he could break a defense down in a PNR situation but finishing at the rim vs high-level D1 players is an entirely different story. He just has a very slight build.

Yes, they are. It's why in HS games this year, players were often caught rolling up the waistband to make their shorts shorter. By KSHSAA rule, any uniform alteration is at first a warning, then a technical if not corrected. Several T's given out this year for kids not wanting long shorts.

At the game.... They don't talk screens at all, which leaves a lot of 2 on 1s and unguarded shots. Part of why the defense is poor.

Can anybody with a trained eye name a comparable WSU guard from the past to Jones? I have a real difficult time watching them in competition other than D1 and understanding how good they are in most aspects.

It's actually spelled Juiston, but I believe KU, UConn, Iowa St and some others have offered.

Hutch won by 17. Jones finished with 26 pts, 4-7 from 3. Juiston had 29 and 12.

As do nearly all JUCO kids. Marshall will force that improvement upon him in a hurry. But the kid is impressive on the offensive side of the ball.

You are right about the defense Hurley. Very impressive on offense. Would loved to have had him against Kentucky. WSU probably would have won.
