The latest projection I saw puts the 26th pick at about $1,689,000 for year 1 and the 2 year deal at $3.6M. Pretty darn good bet on himself.

I doubt more than a small handful of people know how much this family gave up to get this young man where he is. This is truly a blessing for him and his mom.
Going to this kind of team, in this situation, and the benefits that will come to him and his mom. What a great story.

Congratulations to Landry -- his bet on himself certainly appears to have paid off.
Also interesting, I thought, that Shamet went almost as high in the first round as Shake Milton did in the second. I realize we saw Shake at his absolute best in Wichita, but I still would not have expected that juxtaposition. Apparently Landry really did kill it at his workouts.
